History and mission

The story behind LoveToi cosmetics:


WHO ARE WE?

We are twin sisters, nurses and beauticians by training, who decided to use our knowledge and passion to create a range of natural cosmetic products based on green biotechnology. Our goal is to help women feel good about themselves and enjoy more self-love.
More than just a brand, we want to convey a powerful message through our products: that of LOVING YOURSELF, hence the name, LoveToi!


WHERE DID THE IDEA TO GET STARTED COME FROM?

The idea to develop cosmetic products was born when Sarah began noticing more and more stretch marks on her body, without knowing the cause. To her surprise, these stretch marks were linked to a rare disease that she was later diagnosed with: Cushing's disease.


Sarah was desperately searching for a natural yet effective stretch mark cream to prevent and reduce her stretch marks. She also wanted cosmetic products without endocrine disruptors, having become even more conscious of what she applied to her skin after developing an endocrine (hormonal) condition. Despite numerous product trials, she was never satisfied, either with the choice of ingredients or their concentration. Determined to find a solution, she finally decided to create her own cream, figuring she had nothing left to lose.


When she shared this idea with her sister Amélie, the latter, passionate about beauty and health, immediately wanted to co-create this project without hesitation. For her, it was a great opportunity to embark on a great adventure that she is passionate about, and what better way to realize this dream than alongside her faithful partner?


TRAINING

Before becoming a nurse, Sarah worked as a beautician and cosmetician for many years, developing a passion for ingredients and skin science. She also worked in medical aesthetics, where she performed specialized treatments for clients, including anti-stretch mark treatments. Amélie, also a nurse, works in dermatology and shares a passion for skin science, a great asset in the creation of their cosmetics range. Their experience and knowledge have given them a valuable advantage in developing their products, working in collaboration with chemists.


LOVETOI MOVEMENT

They were committed to creating more than just a cosmetics line; they also wanted to launch the LoveToi movement. Behind their products lies a great love story: the love of loving yourself. When they created the LoveToi project, they were themselves learning to truly love themselves for the first time in their lives. Cushing's disease had profoundly transformed Sarah's face and body, significantly altering her appearance. Her relationship with her body had completely changed... She had to adapt to this new body and learn to love it again, because it is much more than just its appearance.

Meanwhile, Amélie was also going through a major ordeal: a breakup after more than 10 years of relationship. She had to learn to love herself and choose herself first.

Each of them, experiencing the greatest ordeal of their lives, learned to love themselves. Sarah learned to love herself externally while Amélie learned to love herself internally.

Through these challenges, they have truly discovered the importance of loving themselves, both internally and externally. Hence their “self-love brand” behind the cosmetics range.

LoveToi was born from the idea that every woman deserves to be celebrated and loved for her true worth. Our mission is to help women reconnect with themselves and their bodies by pampering themselves mindfully, thanks to healthy skincare products, lovingly designed for each of them.

We want them to be able to give themselves all the love they deserve, thanks to innovative dermocosmetics derived from green biotechnology. Our goal is to offer them the best of nature, combining science—a perfect duo to guarantee optimal quality and effectiveness.
